RANGE

The Range is located at Peenaquim Park. To get to the range from Highway 3 (Crowsnest Trail), turn north on 9th Avenue (Stafford Drive) and keep driving until you leave the residential area. Look for the sign on the left.

NOTE:

If you are planning on using restricted firearms (Handguns and others) at the LFGA Range?  When you complete / renew your application for an Authorization to Transport permit you will need the range address.

Non-Member Day Pass Requirement PDF Print E-mail

Range Fee Required For Non-Members
 LFGA Day Passes are required for non-member users over the age of eighteen (18.  These are available at Wholesale Sports and Marksman Guns and Sports at a cost of $15.00 for each range user who is not an LFGA member. This fee is used for operating expenses and maintenance.  Supervision by a Range Officer will be required.

To use a Day Pass, you should first arrange for a volunteer Range Officer by sending an e-mail to the at least 48 hours in advance. In your e-mail, include your contact information and what type of shooting you wish to do. A LFGA Range Officer will contact you.

LFGA Range Officers volunteer their time to assist people who wish to access the Range. Should you wish to become a Range Officer, please contact Allan Friesen at 382-3593 or 320-5860.
